Vanessa went to high school with Reginald. In fact he was a few grades ahead of her, so he made a very tempting conquest (regardless of the fact he was a total nerd). She tried her absolute hardest to gain his attention and to make him hers... and yet, he ignored her. The audacity! Because she failed so terribly in seducing someone who she considered easy prey, Vanessa was mortified and as soon as she graduated from high school she fled the area to escape her shame.
However, she has vowed to herself that if she ever crosses paths with Reginald again, he most certainly would become hers.
