History
Laurel was always one of those devil may care types. She made it through high school with little fuss or care. When it came to schooling after – ie College- she didn’t see a point. Her family was never well off so the most logical thing to do was get a job to help out. And what better place than at a pet store where she could interact with all sorts of creatures? She loved animals of all kinds, especially the kittens that they fostered and adopted out and it was funny that they all behaved for her when the owners would get clawed or bitten on a regular basis. She once had a dream that she could become a vet or an animal trainer for movies, but dreams are for those who can afford them.
Third child of seven, Laurel’s mom worked two jobs and her dad worked three just to keep them all afloat. Working hard and scraping by was the norm for her and her family. If your shoes ripped at the sole, duct tape it. If your clothes were too small, give them to the next in line. If you found $5 on the street, you DID NOT buy frivolous things with it, you turned it over to Mom or Dad for the good of the family. Family was and is everything.
A slight air head, Laurel is most likely to be friendly to others but has a large tendency to be scatter brained and easily distracted by other things. She’s usually incredibly easy going but if her slow temper is provoked then you better pray you make it out alive.
